![]() If you're not dead set on using modern's model, it would be fun to see a 3D classic Sonic game, but that's totally up to you. ![]() I'd put more than one in each level though. Some people say they're mindless padding, but as long as you don't NEED to get them to beat the game, they're simply another challenge to add replayability. But if you want to change it that's fine. I like how Sonic runs in midair, reminds me of the olden days. Arrow keys don't give as much accuracy of movement in a 3D plane as a control stick does. It's probably obvious, but just in case, I should say that gamepad/joystick compatibility should be added ASAP, if it's not there already and I missed it. It can go a tiiiiny bit below him, but it should just stay focused on his back for the most part. All you can see is Sonic and the sky above him, making it impossible to know what's below you or to manoeuvre onto a platform when rising. The way the camera goes underneath Sonic when he's propelled into the air is bad. I know the point of Sonic games is gotta go fast, but he goes so fast that it's really difficult/impossible to control him well. Like, I barely move forward and suddenly he's skidding as if on ice.
