Problem is, today fbx is very common, contrary to directXįBX is often problematic for animated meshes in CC. There was no way to select an animation, whereas in another model in direct X, separate animations were handled by coppercube. I had an issue with an fbx in coppercube where all animations were merged. First load into Blender then export out again as FBX or OBJ (better) or DAE etc so that all the texture slots show up.įor an animated character, is there a procedure to follow so that animations can be imported separately ?. Dont load the FBX directly into CC unless has only one texture. You can now use the albedo and normal mapped textures in CopperCube. The imported package usually has the individual textures in it so that's easy also as you can just open the files in explorer from right click (from memory). You might need to run an older Unity (2018) version that still supports the older FBX exporter. Then download fbx exporter (free) and export the selected item or even whole demo scene (prefab) as one. I really have problems with importing animated fbx's for example the character appears with all animations running at once on screen ,with no way to only activate one. Somme sellers allow exporting their assets, but only sell in unity package format. Is there a tutorial on how to export unity packages to coppercube? Ambiera Forum > CopperCube > Help with CopperCube
